Making some adjustments to the newsletter

If you’ve been reading for a while, or even if you have just joined, thank you. Productized has been my weekly home for two years (this is my 113th post!). It’s been a place to share what I’ve learned from helping agency founders spin out SaaS products and from going through that journey myself, all the way through to exit.

That journey gave me a lot to say. But somewhere along the way, the playbook part of it has started to feel, well.. complete. I mean, I even wrote a book about it!

I’ve covered the how-tos, the key decisions and the common pitfalls. And now, to keep writing honestly, I need to evolve the shape of this newsletter.

So here’s what’s changing:

  • I’ll be writing less frequently, but with more space to think.

  • I’ll still write for SaaS founders and agency owners, but not always from inside the “agency-to-SaaS” frame.

  • I’m moving away from “advice” towards observation, reflection, and clearer thinking.

And of course, unlike a lot of other newsletters, I have no other agenda. I’m not trying to sell you anything. There’s no funnel, no product, no upsell. I’m writing because I hope it’s useful.

So if you’re still building, questioning, experimenting or just want to hear from someone who’s walked the path and is now on the other side, I hope you’ll stick around.

And if not, no hard feelings. I’m grateful you read this far.

More soon!
